Business owners, customer numbers, product sales and turnover are all up; with industry expert and brand operations manager for TruGreen, Steve Welch, putting the recent success down to ‘developing relationships and building momentum within the franchise network’.

Welch said: “In the last year we’ve seen nine new business owners invest in a TruGreen franchise, a significant on the previous year and as such, core product sales are up greatly. We’ve invested in both our franchise recruitment platforms and customer facing websites to ensure we are contactable quicker and easier than ever before. The growth we are seeing currently is the culmination of closer working relationships with franchise owners on technical, operation and marketing initiatives with a national, regional and local focus.”

A network-led initiative saw more than 800,000 items of direct mail landing on customers’ doorsteps over a three month period and an online campaign, providing nearly 10 million ad impressions, further supported our campaign for increased brand awareness. Alongside the mild winter conditions and early warm weather this year, customer numbers are up massively across the whole of the UK TruGreen now has a local business in both Scotland and Northern Ireland for the first time in its history and more than 35 other locally operating franchises across England and Wales.
