New enquiries from customers keen to have their ovens professionally cleaned by ovenclean franchise owners increased by 61 per cent in the last year.
According to Marketing Director Anne Blee the launch of Ovenclean’s new website last summer had an instant impact on enquiry levels. As well as this the company received further exposure in national home interest magazine Period Homes, which helped to increase figures further.
Blee said: “Despite the recession, customers increasingly seem to feel that having their oven professionally cleaned is one of those things they simply don’t want to do without. Luckily, enquiries from people looking to join the Ovenclean network are also climbing strongly – figures for 2010 were up by around 45 per cent compared to the previous year, enabling out network to expand in line with the increased demand for Ovenclean’s services. We have a series of new marketing initiatives and customer offers planned for 2011 and look forward to what promises to be our most successful year ever!”
