The Filta Group has awarded its first franchise owner scholarship to Dinesh Mangal (pictured). The Filta Group plans to award one more scholarship this year to an outstanding individual who might need financial help to achieve their franchise goal.

Damian Slater, Franchise Manager at The Filta Group, explained the importance and purpose of the ?franchise scholarship.

“We get to meet many people who show an interest in The Filta Group and its range of franchise opportunities,” he said. “Occasionally someone comes along who has a very special something that we recognise as being of such worth we feel they will bring real value to the brand and make a great success – not just for us but for themselves and their families too. However, sometimes these individuals may not have the funds to enable them to move forward.”

Mangal, from Milton Keynes, immediately saw the value in FiltaFry Plus, when he met the team at a franchise exhibition in January.

“When we met Dinesh and his family, we decided there was no way we were going to let anything stand in his way of becoming one of our franchise owners,” said Slater. “As soon as we met Dinesh his star quality and personality shone through. His family clubbed together for his deposit and The Filta Group has introduced a scheme where the balance will be funded by his ongoing business growth.

“Since he launched his franchise, the reports back from his customers have been excellent saying they are enjoying a first class service delivered with a first class smile.”

Mangal’s goal for year one is to be able to take his wife and children to Jamaica for a holiday in 2012. The Filta Group franchise might become a family affair as Mangal has been speaking with relatives who are interested in joining the FiltaFry Plus franchise network.
