Sheffield-based Minster franchisee James Lofthouse has increased his turnover by 30 per cent in three years. James decided to invest in Minster because it offered him the opportunity to take control of a large, exclusive territory and had unlimited growth potential in a recession proof industry.

James says: 'Having the whole of Sheffield as my exclusive territory was definitely a big attraction as was the level of advice and training available from Minster head office and through the franchise network.'

To date Minster's turnover exceeds £30 million and one third of the 39 branches have achieved annual sales of over £1 million. Minster has invested heavily in systems to ease routine business tasks and gives franchisees support across a wide range of areas including IT, training, accounts and marketing as well as providing guidance on legislation covering complex areas such as employment and health and safety.
